Full design and programming of an alarm electronic circuit for motorcycles padlocks. This alarm is configured and used by a mobile App. It acts on a movement sensor. The sensitivity of the sensor and the alarm sounds can be configured by the user. When the alarm fires it sends a message to the user via Bluetooth. When the user is not in the range of the alarm, other users can receive the signal and forward it.
Development highlights:
Embedded programming based on Texas Instruments Bluetooth stack and TI-RTOS, including driver for the motion sensor and sound generation.
Low power consumption.
Full development of iOS and Android Apps with Bluetooth connectivity, account management, cloud interaction, background modes, location service, firmware update and more.
Full PCB design according to the mechanical needs.
PCB prototyping and production management with external manufacturer. Cost reduction analysis.
